Tirupati, April 28 -- Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam was performed with religious fervour at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in New Delhi on Tuesday, ahead of the annual Brahmotsavams scheduled from May 1 to 9.
The rituals began in the early hours with Suprabhatam, followed by Thomala Seva, Koluvu and Panchanga Sravanam.
The cleansing ritual was conducted from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
During the ceremony, the temple premises, walls, ceiling and puja materials were thoroughly cleaned and sanctified.
A sacred mixture of aromatic ingredients like turmeric, sandalwood, camphor and other traditional substances was sprinkled across the temple.
