Hyderabad, July 12 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday urged Telangana government officials to address civic issues raised by residents during his padayatra in the Kachiguda and Golnaka divisions of the Amberpet Assembly constituency.
Kishan Reddy said he would tour bastis across the Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency every Saturday and Sunday to understand public grievances.
He said residents complained of damaged roads, non-functional streetlights, drinking water shortage, lack of housing and pensions, and sought implementation of the Congress government's poll promises, including financial assistance for women, unemployment allowance, scooters for young women and gold for weddings.
