Hyderabad, Oct. 4 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday performed the Bhoomi Puja for the Sabar Dairy milk processing plant at JRJA Industrial Park in Toopran mandal of Medak district.
The dairy plant, being established with an investment of around Rs 400 crore using Amul technology, is expected to be completed within 18 months and generate employment opportunities, particularly for women and youth. Milk procured from local farmers will be processed into products including milk, curd, buttermilk, lassi, paneer, ice cream and ghee, providing greater value addition and income to dairy farmers.
