Bengaluru, Nov. 5 -- Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge on Wednesday issued a strong warning to BJP state president Vijayendra Yediyurappa and Legislative Council Leader of Opposition Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, saying their provocative and derogatory remarks against Congress leaders and workers could land them in jail if they continued.
Raising the stakes in the escalating political confrontation between the ruling Congress and the BJP, Kharge said the government would not tolerate threats and personal attacks under the guise of political criticism and would initiate legal proceedings against those responsible.
