New Delhi, Aug. 8 -- Congress president and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday projected the Congress as the next government in Uttarakhand, promising jobs for Agniveers and restoration of the Old Pension Scheme if the party wins the upcoming Assembly election.

Addressing a public meeting in Haldwani, Kharge mounted a broad attack on the BJP governments at the Centre and in Uttarakhand, accusing them of failing to tackle unemployment and recruitment irregularities while alleging that paper leaks had become a major obstacle for young people seeking government jobs.
