New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- The Opposition on Tuesday intensified its attack on the Centre over allegations related to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, with Congress President and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi respond in Parliament to accusations concerning alleged irregularities in donations, land transactions and the management of the trust.
Raising the issue in the Rajya Sabha, Kharge said the allegations involving valuable offerings, cash donations, land purchases and the administration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust were a matter of concern for crores of devotees across the country.
