New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- Congress president and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) team on the successful launch of the GSLV-F17/EOS-05 mission, describing it as a significant achievement for India's space programme.
"Congratulations to the entire @isro team on the successful GSLV-F17/EOS-05 mission," Kharge said in a post on social media platform X.
Kharge said EOS-05, described as India's first imaging satellite placed in geosynchronous orbit, would further strengthen the country's Earth observation capabilities.
