Itanagar, Feb. 28 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday held a fruitful discussion with the Chairman of the Coffee Board of India, M J Dinesh, along with CEO & Secretary Kurma Rao and senior officials, to explore avenues for expanding coffee cultivation in the state.
The meeting focused on strengthening coffee plantations in the state and unlocking the immense potential of local farmers in the sector.
Emphasizing Arunachal Pradesh's favourable agro-climatic conditions for quality coffee production, the Chief Minister highlighted the need for technical support, scientific guidance, and better market linkages to enhance farmers' income.
