Hyderabad, May 21 -- Khammam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in Telangana during the last 24 hours, according to the Meteorological Centre on Thursday.

The weather office said heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places across the state over the next four days.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging between 40-50 kmph are likely at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, and Mahabubnagar districts during the next 48 hours.
