Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- Khalin Joshi fired an eight-under 63 to take the opening-round lead at the INR 1 crore J&K Open 2026 being played at the picturesque Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar.
Earlier the day, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the 5th edition of J&K Open 2026 DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) by teeing off the prestigious four-day tournament and unveiling the championship trophy at the picturesque Royal Springs Golf Course (RSGC), Srinagar.
The 33-year-old Bengaluru golfer Khalin produced a calculated round featuring nine birdies and a lone bogey on the 17th hole to establish a two-shot advantage.
