Panchkula, Aug. 30 -- In a major crackdown on economic and other offences, Haryana Police have arrested the alleged key accused in a cheating case in Hisar in which more than Rs 77.10 lakh was reportedly collected from a complainant, his family and two others on the pretext of arranging work visas for the US and Canada, obtaining an arms licence and getting the complainant's son cleared in a criminal case.
A Haryana Police spokesperson said the Economic Cell, Hisar, headed by Inspector Sanjay Kumar, arrested Rahul alias Rohit Bansal, a resident of Adarsh Mohalla, Patparganj, Delhi, presently residing at Dankalan village in Patiala district of Punjab.
