Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 10 -- Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan has strongly criticised the National Commission for Women (NCW) over the alleged treatment of the state's women legislators at its workshop in Faridabad, after seven Kerala MLAs walked out of the two-day programme protesting the conduct of sessions predominantly in Hindi without translation facilities.

The legislators walked out of the NCW's two-day workshop, "She is a Changemaker", shortly before its scheduled conclusion, saying that almost every session was conducted in Hindi and that no arrangements had been made for translation, leaving them unable to properly follow the proceedings.
