Thiruvananthapuram, April 8 -- Kerala is all set for a high-stakes electoral battle on April 9, with prominent leaders of the Congress party gearing up to cast their votes across the state, setting the tone for an intense day of democratic participation.
From the coastal belt of Alappuzha to the northern reaches of Kannur, senior leaders will be among the early voters, signalling the party's readiness and enthusiasm as polling begins.
Leading the lineup, K. C. Venugopal, AICC General Secretary, will cast his vote at Thiruvambady Higher Secondary School, Pazhaveedu, at 8:30 am. KPCC President Sunny Joseph is scheduled to vote at 7 am at St. John Baptist English Medium Higher Secondary School in Peravoor, Kannur.
