Thiruvananthapuram, May 25 -- Kerala Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan has said the state would witness "dream-like development projects" aimed at strengthening the state's economy, improving people's lives, and transforming Kochi into a futuristic urban hub with world-class infrastructure and seamless transport systems.
The Chief Minister said he had taken charge of the Finance Department because "it is a challenge," and asserted that reviving and strengthening the state economy would be one of the government's foremost priorities.
"The treasury and wealth belong to the people. The wealth generated through development will be distributed fairly among all sections of society," he said.
