Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 10 -- Kerala Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Bindu Krishna on Thursday directed various departments to work in coordination and prepare a comprehensive action plan to effectively address health concerns arising from the presence of aflatoxin in milk and find a permanent solution to the issue.

The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by the Minister, who said the presence of aflatoxin in milk was a serious public health concern and stressed the need for coordinated action by the departments concerned to find a lasting solution.
