Thiruvananthapuram, May 30 -- Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan on Friday declared that the newly-elected Congress-led UDF government would fully implement all promises made to the people during the Assembly election campaign, including the much-publicised "Five Indira Guarantees."He also unveiled an ambitious development vision aimed at transforming Kerala into a major port city and one of Asia's leading aviation hubs.
Addressing a press conference, the Chief Minister said the government had already taken decisions on two of the five guarantees promised in the UDF manifesto, while the financial aspects of the remaining guarantees were being examined in detail before formal announcement.
