Thiruvananthapuram, May 31 -- Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has directed all government departments to urgently complete monsoon preparedness activities, citing the growing threat of extreme weather events, landslides, and other natural disasters during the southwest monsoon season.

Chairing a high-level review meeting on monsoon preparedness, the Chief Minister stressed the need for coordinated action across departments and local bodies to ensure public safety and minimize potential damage.
