Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 6 -- The Kerala Information and Public Relations Department (I&PRD) has dismissed as completely false and misleading a news report telecast by a Malayalam news channel alleging widespread irregularities in the distribution of non-journalist pensions.
An I&PRD official said the report alleged that irregularities had occurred in the distribution of non-journalist pensions at the office of the Deputy Director in Kollam and that the pension amount had been transferred to an employee's account. The allegations were factually incorrect and baseless, the official said.
