Thiruvananthapuram, July 17 -- In a bid to position Kerala as a global semiconductor hub, the State Government has stepped up efforts to attract large-scale investments in the semiconductor industry, holding a high-level meeting chaired by Industries Minister P. K. Kunhalikutty to chart out a strategic roadmap.

The meeting focused on capitalising on the opportunities arising from India's rapidly expanding semiconductor sector and discussed measures to establish Kerala as a key destination for semiconductor manufacturing, research, and innovation.
