Chennai, July 15 -- Proposing an inter-state joint effort to combat the growing drug menace across South India, Kerala Home Minister and senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay at the State Secretariathere on Wednesday.

The focus of the high-level meeting was sealing inter-state borders, sharing real-time intelligence on drug syndicates and their networks, and holding joint massive public awareness campaigns to protect the youth.
