Thiruvananthapuram, June 19 -- The Kerala government has formally conveyed its dissatisfaction to Lok Bhavan over Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar's meeting with officials of various government departments to review preparations for the International Day of Yoga, maintaining that such meetings fall within the executive domain of the elected government.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office, the government came to know about the Governor's meeting only through media reports. Following the reports, the Chief Minister's Office contacted the Governor's Office to seek clarification on what had transpired.
