Thiruvananthapuram, July 2 -- The Kerala government has expressed its dissatisfaction over the announcement that the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will acquire a 49 per cent stake in Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Limited (AVPPL), stating that the announcement was made without informing or consulting the state government.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office, Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has conveyed the government's displeasure to the management of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ).
