Thiruvananthapuram, June 29 -- Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has appealed to West Bengal (WB) Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to urgently intervene in the passport renewal case of veteran journalist Rajagopal Ramadas, whose application has reportedly been delayed following an adverse police verification report.
In a letter to the WB Chief Minister, Satheesan said Ramadas' passport renewal application has been held up after Kolkata Police reportedly submitted an adverse verification report linked to the deletion of his name from the electoral roll during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
