Thiruvananthapuram, May 26 -- Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Prime Minister's Office in New Delhi on Tuesday as part of a series of high-level discussions with union leaders on key issues concerning the state.

The meeting was confirmed by the Prime Minister's Office through a post on X, which said: "Chief Minister of Keralam, Shri @vdsatheesan met Prime Minister @narendramodi."The PMO also shared details of the meeting through its official social media handle.

Later in the day, Satheesan met union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at Kartavya Bhavan in the national capital to discuss major financial and development-related matters concerning Kerala.
