Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 1 -- Kerala Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan on Saturday conducted a comprehensive review of the rain and flood situation in the State with Cabinet ministers and District Collectors, directing ministers in charge of the worst-affected districts to camp on the ground and personally coordinate rescue and relief operations.
The Chief Minister instructed the ministers to remain stationed in their respective districts to ensure speedy rescue, relief and rehabilitation measures. Under the arrangement, C.P. John will camp in Thiruvananthapuram, P.C.
