Thiruvananthapuram, July 15 -- The Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday approved the introduction of a data-driven governance system to improve inter-departmental coordination and expedite file clearance, while deciding to subject the proposed High-Speed Rail Project to further detailed studies before taking a final call.

Announcing the Cabinet decisions, Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan said the new governance mechanism is aimed at eliminating delays in project implementation caused by poor coordination among departments and prolonged file processing.
