Kochi, Aug. 17 -- The Kerala unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is facing renewed scrutiny over the handling of election funds following complaints concerning the 2026 Assembly campaign, bringing back into focus a series of election-related financial controversies involving the party over the past five years.
The latest controversy surfaced in July after reports that complaints had been raised within the party over the distribution, utilisation and accounting of funds released for the 2026 Assembly election campaign.
