Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 1 -- Kerala remained in the grip of one of the season's worst monsoon spells on Saturday, with torrential rain triggering landslides, flash floods and widespread destruction across the State.
The rain-related death toll rose to eight, while several others were reported missing or trapped as rescue operations continued in multiple districts.
