Thiruvananthapuram, June 18 -- Kerala-based AI-powered edtech startup EdMe AI has claimed a major breakthrough after accurately identifying 85 per cent of the current affairs-related topics that appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination held on May 24, 2026.
According to the startup, its proprietary artificial intelligence model analysed newspapers and previous years' UPSC question papers to identify high-probability topics well ahead of the examination.
The platform correctly predicted 63 of the 74 current affairs-linked topics in the General Studies Paper I, including 34 direct matches and nearly 30 through closely related themes and concepts.
