Thrissur, April 6 -- The Vadananpally kit distribution controversy has taken a significant legal and political turn, with the Chavakkad Magistrate Court granting permission to the police to register a case based on a complaint filed by the UDF.
Acting on this approval, the police will proceed against the individual who allegedly placed the order for the kits.
Earlier, the Election Commission had submitted a complaint to the Vadananpally police, prompting preliminary action. Police have now registered a case against the godown owner and the person linked to the kit order, and further investigation is underway.
