Kozhikode, April 2 -- The CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) today released its election manifesto for the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan unveiled the document in Kozhikode, outlining a 60-point development program comprising 950 specific proposals aimed at creating a New Kerala.
A key promise in the manifesto is lifting 5 lakh families out of extreme poverty and completely eradicating absolute poverty in the state. The manifesto vows to hike social security and welfare pensions to Rs.3,000.
