Chandigarh, June 10 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday intensified the political discourse in Punjab by alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was keen on reviving ties with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), despite public differences between the two parties.

In a social media post, Kejriwal launched a sarcastic attack on both political outfits, claiming that discussions around a possible alliance reflected political compulsions rather than ideological commitments. Without presenting any evidence of ongoing negotiations, he suggested that efforts were being made to bring the former allies back onto a common political platform ahead of future electoral contests.
