Jagtial, April 20 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) president and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday evening announced that senior leader Jeevan Reddy who joined the party, would be the BRS General Secretary, describing him as a "proven leader" and a role model in politics.
Addressing the BRS Praja Aashirvada Sabha in Jagtial, KCR said Jeevan Reddy's entry into the party would strengthen its prospects not only in his constituency but across the region. He noted their long-standing association, stating that despite being in different political parties earlier, they had remained close friends for over four decades.
