Hyderabad, April 5 -- Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Sunday warned of a fresh agitation to protect Singareni, strongly criticising the state government at the 'Save Singareni' round table meeting held at the Telangana Jagruthi office in Banjara Hills.
The meeting was attended by representatives of trade unions, including HMS General Secretary Riyaz Ahmed, Forward Bloc leaders, and Singareni workers, where key issues concerning the future of the coal major and workers' welfare were discussed.
Addressing the gathering, Kavitha alleged that the government lacks understanding and commitment towards Singareni and its workforce.
