Hyderabad, July 26 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President K Kavitha on Sunday alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was unfairly claiming credit for the students' 36-day agitation, which she said forced the Centre to secure the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
In a video statement, Kavitha congratulated the students and unemployed youth, calling it a "resounding victory" achieved through their struggle. She criticised the Congress for holding candlelight rallies, alleging that the Chief Minister did so fearing students would question his government's failure to fulfil promises.
