Bhupalpally (Telangana), June 20 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Saturday issued a one-month ultimatum to the Telangana government and Singareni management, demanding that medical board meetings be convened for workers and that dependent jobs be provided. She warned that if these demands are not met, she will begin a hunger strike from July 20.

Addressing workers at a gate meeting held at the Kakatiya Khani-5 mine in Bhupalpally as part of the Singareni Baayi Baata programme, Kavitha said around 1,200 workers' cases were pending due to the non-convening of medical boards.
