Hyderabad, Sept. 15 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena president K Kavitha on Tuesday alleged that government employees and teachers were facing severe hardships under the Revanth Reddy government and demanded immediate resolution of their pending issues.
Addressing a conference on employees' and teachers' issues at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram here, she demanded release of pending DA and 51 per cent fitment before the PRC term expires.
She alleged that DA had been withheld for 32 months and sought implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for teachers and police personnel recruited in 2003, claiming that extending OPS to teachers could save the government around Rs 2,000 crore.
