Hyderabad, July 13 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President K Kavitha on Monday accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of compromising Telangana's interests in the Godavari water dispute by allegedly adopting a weak legal stand against Andhra Pradesh's proposed Polavaram-Banakacharla link project.
In a post on social media platform X, Kavitha expressed concern over the Supreme Court reportedly pointing out defects in the petition filed by the Telangana government challenging the project.
She alleged that the government's handling of the case reflected its "cooperation" with the Andhra Pradesh government and claimed that Telangana's water rights were being undermined.
