Hyderabad, July 15 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Wednesday accused the Congress government and opposition parties of colluding with large rice millers while harassing small millers through inquiries, arrests and legal cases despite pending dues of nearly Rs 4,000 crore from large millers.
In a video statement issued from the party office at Banjara Hills after meeting a delegation of raw rice millers, Kavitha alleged that while the government had failed to recover dues from large millers, it was targeting small millers with outstanding amounts ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
She demanded a one-time settlement for small rice millers and said her party would stand by them.
