Kalaburagi, Sept. 3 -- The Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT), Kalaburagi division, on Thursday stayed the suspension of two government school teachers from Yadgir district who were suspended for participating in an RSS procession, providing relief to the duo and a setback to the State government.
The teachers, Gururaj Joshi of a government primary school in Hunasagi town and Annasaheb Deshmukh of Kuppi school, had challenged the suspension order before the KAT.
The School Education Department had suspended the two teachers on August 20 following reports that they had participated in an RSS path march held in Hunasagi on October 10, 2025, while wearing the organisation's uniform. They were accused of violating the Karnataka Civil Ser...
