Srinagar, May 21 -- Chairman of the Minority Welfare Committee of the Bihar Assembly, Akhtarul Iman, on Thursday said his five-day study tour of Jammu and Kashmir left him impressed by the peaceful atmosphere, the hospitality of the people, and the condition of minorities in the Valley.
Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Iman said the delegation visited Kashmir to assess the condition of minorities, the atmosphere in the region, and the developmental works being undertaken. He said the visit helped remove fears and misconceptions associated with Kashmir.
