Srinagar, March 23 -- Amid the US-Israel-Iran war, people in Jammu and Kashmir have launched a large-scale donation drive for affected people in Iran, contributing valuables and savings, prompting the Iranian Embassy in India to express heartfelt gratitude.
"With hearts full of gratitude, we sincerely thank the kind people of Kashmir for standing with the people of Iran through their humanitarian support and heartfelt solidarity; this kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you, India," the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India posted on X.
The Embassy also posted videos showing a woman donating gold kept as a memory of her late husband and children offering their piggy banks as contributions.
