Srinagar, June 13 -- : Fresh rains lashed several parts of Kashmir on Saturday, bringing a dip in temperatures across the valley and giving weather conditions an early spring-like feel even in the middle of June.

According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, maximum temperatures remained below normal across most stations in Kashmir division.

The summer capital Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 23.8degC, which was 4.2degC below normal, while tourist resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir settled at 17.0degC, 6.7degC below the seasonal average. The famous resort of Gulmarg recorded 16.6degC, also remaining 2.2degC below normal.
