Bengaluru, May 18 -- A high-level preparatory meeting of the Karnataka Youth Congress to strategise a statewide protest against alleged irregularities in the NEET examination, descended into chaos on Monday after a violent clash broke out between two rival factions at the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office in Bengaluru, party sources and witnesses said.
The meeting, convened to finalise mobilisation plans for the proposed May 21 agitation, was thrown into disarray when sharp differences within the Youth Congress escalated into heated arguments and quickly spilled over into physical confrontation inside the party headquarters.
