Bengaluru, May 23 -- Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara on Saturday clarified that the state government had no role in the Bengaluru Police decision to deny permission for a proposed rally by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), asserting that such matters fall entirely within the jurisdiction of law enforcement authorities.
The CJP, which has recently attracted attention through its growing social media presence and unconventional political messaging, had planned to hold a public gathering near Town Hall in Bengaluru on Sunday.
