Bengaluru, Aug. 14 -- The Karnataka High Court on Thursday sought a clear account from the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) on how it plans to permanently tackle Bengaluru's persistent pothole menace, questioning the civic body beyond its claim of repairing thousands of road craters.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice K.S. Hemalekha directed the GBA to file a comprehensive affidavit detailing the measures taken to prevent potholes from recurring and to ensure timely repair of deteriorating roads.
