Bengaluru, Aug. 27 -- With improved imaging increasingly detecting liver nodules and lesions during routine health checks, Gleneagles BGS Hospital, Kengeri, on Thursday launched Karnataka's first dedicated Liver Nodule Clinic, highlighting the need for faster and coordinated evaluation of patients across India.
The hospital said the multidisciplinary clinic brings hepatologists, liver transplant and HPB surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and other specialists together at the point of diagnosis, aiming to reduce the multiple referrals, repeated investigations and treatment delays that patients with liver lesions often face.
