Bengaluru, Sept. 23 -- The Election Commission of India on Wednesday announced biennial elections to four Karnataka Legislative Council constituencies, with polling scheduled for October 23.
The four constituencies comprise two graduates' and two teachers' seats. The terms of sitting members Shashila G. Namoshi of Karnataka North East Teachers' Constituency, Puttanna of Bangalore Teachers' Constituency, Chidananda M. Gowda of Karnataka South East Graduates' Constituency and S.V. Sankanura of Karnataka West Graduates' Constituency will end on November 11, 2026.
