Bengaluru, Oct. 7 -- The Karnataka Congress on Wednesday launched a sharp attack over alleged abusive and derogatory social media posts targeting Gujarat Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani, alleging a deliberate conspiracy to intimidate the Dalit leader and stall his political growth.
Addressing a press conference here, KPCC Scheduled Caste (SC) wing president R Dharmasena alleged that Dhawan Dev, described as a BJP functionary, had uploaded an objectionable post on Instagram on September 30 using highly abusive language against Mevani and making derogatory remarks about his sister.
