Thiruvananthapuram, July 9 -- Karnataka Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar has assured the Kerala Government of his administration's full support for Operation Toofan, the anti-narcotics campaign launched by the Kerala Home Department, during a meeting with Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala in Bengaluru.
Chennithala met Shivakumar at the Vidhana Soudha and sought Karnataka's cooperation in intensifying the fight against the sale and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
Responding positively, the Karnataka Chief Minister said his government would extend complete support to the initiative and assured that additional police personnel would be deployed along the Kerala-Karnataka border to strengthen inspections and curb cross-border drug traffic...
